Ascure Introduces (ISC)2® Educational Offerings to Ascure Academy Program

Official (ISC)2 CBK® review seminars and information security certification exams to be available in Belgium & Luxembourg.

Ghent, Belgium, 11 June 2006 – The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium [(ISC)2®], the non-profit global leader in educating and certifying information security professionals throughout their careers, today announced an educational affiliate agreement with Ascure to offer information security instruction and certification examinations in Belgium and Luxembourg.

(ISC)2 offers the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®), the premier certification for experienced management-level information security professionals worldwide, and the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP®) for experienced cyber security professionals implementing security policy. Advanced examinations are also offered for professionals holding CISSP in three areas of concentration, including architecture, management and engineering. Since its inception in 1989, (ISC)2 has certified over 40,000 information security professionals in more than 100 countries.

An Independent Information Security Services provider, Ascure complements its service offering with a program of specialist training courses in IT security for security, IT and business management professionals. The company will add the officially sanctioned (ISC)2 CBK® Review Seminar provided by authorised instructors from the (ISC)2 Institute, (ISC)2’s global education services, and host examinations for (ISC)2 credentials. The first exam session, which will facilitate all (ISC)2 credentials, will be hosted by Ascure on 24th June 2006 in Brussels. Review seminars will begin in the Autumn.
